Purpose
1.1 These “Terms & Conditions,” drafted in October 2025, together with the order form and other elements referred to herein, are intended to regulate the terms and conditions governing the Tchissola Wines Online Store, located at the internet address [ www.tchissolawines.com ], with headquarters at Avenida da Venezuela, No. 345 2750-715 Cascais, under the single registration and legal entity identification number 518135284, with a share capital of €15,000.00 (euros), hereinafter referred to as Tchissola Wines.
1.2 The purchase of any product from the Tchissola Wines Online Store implies acceptance of these “Terms & Conditions.”
1.3 Any and all alcoholic beverages available for sale in the Tchissola Wines Online Store may only be purchased by persons of legal drinking age.
1.4 The Tchissola Wines Online Store is available to customers who request delivery of products in the following territories: Europe, Africa, United Kingdom, United States of America.
2. Product Information, Prices, and Content
2.1 Tchissola Wines reserves the right to modify, without prior notice and at any time, the information and commercial offer presented on: products, prices, promotions, commercial conditions, and services.
2.2 The images illustrating each product at Tchissola Wines may differ from the product subsequently delivered.
2.3 All products presented for sale in the online store are subject to stock shortages. If such a shortage only occurs at the time of preparing the delivery (after the order has been registered and settled), Tchissola Wines reserves the right to cancel the order and inform the customer of this situation. The customer may choose to be refunded the full amount paid or to replace the product(s) with others. If the customer chooses the latter option, Tchissola Wines will refund the difference by bank transfer, or the customer will pay the excess, depending on whether the difference is in their favour or in favour of Tchissola Wines.
2.4 The prices shown in the Tchissola Wines online store are final prices and must be fully paid prior to the finalisation of the online purchase.
2.5 Under Portuguese law, all prices shown on Tchissola Wines include IEC/IABA and VAT, unless otherwise stated.
2.6 Promotions advertised on Tchissola Wines may not apply to physical wine tourism stores.
3. Order and Payment
3.1 After confirmation of the order at Tchissola Wines, an email will be sent to the address registered by the customer when placing the order, with all details about delivery, billing, payment information, products, and prices. Tchissola Wines suggests that all customers confirm the details of their order. If the customer does not receive the order confirmation email, they are requested to contact Tchissola Wines via the following contacts so that this notification can be resent to the customer's email address. 3.2 If any of the details provided by the customer in the order are incorrect and/or the customer wishes to change any information before the order is shipped, the customer is requested to contact us as soon as possible using the contact details mentioned in the previous paragraph so that the change requested by the customer can be made internally. Changes to details of orders that have already been shipped and invoiced will have to be analysed on a case-by-case basis.
3.3 All orders at Tchissola Wines will only be processed after payment has been received. Placing an order does not in itself constitute a reservation of the products.
3.4 If an order cannot be fulfilled in part or in full, the customer will be contacted immediately by Tchissola Wines in order to find the most appropriate solution.
3.5 All orders placed with Tchissola Wines have a maximum payment period of 48 hours. After this period, the order will be automatically canceled.
3.6 Orders may be canceled when expressly requested by the customer through the contacts mentioned in point 3.1, before the order is shipped. After confirmation of the order shipment, the customer is asked to contact Tchissola Wines so that, together with the customer, the most appropriate solution can be found.
3.7 The Tchissola Wines Online Store accepts only VISA payments.
3.8 There are two order statuses at Tchissola Wines: “In Process” or “On Hold,” and “Completed.”
a) Processing – Stage at which payment has been received and the order is being processed and packaged/prepared;
b) On Hold – Awaiting additional confirmation from the customer to proceed with the order. (This stage is exceptional).
c) Completed – The order has already been shipped/sent.
3.9 Payments are made in euros.
3.10 In some cases, the customer support department may request additional documents in order to proceed with the order.
4. Shipping costs
4.1 Shipping costs are added to the prices shown for the products for each order and are calculated based on the cost of transport. The cost of transport depends on the weight of the order and the delivery destination. These shipping costs can be simulated in the shopping cart with the desired products added and by filling in all the required fields in the simulator. The total shipping costs will also be automatically calculated when you place your order in the Online Store. Please note that the variables and prices considered in this calculation are related to the logistics operator's price list and are subject to change without prior notice.
5. Shipments and Deliveries
5.1 For orders to be sent to the requested address, the shipping option must be selected – Domestic Shipping/International Shipping.
5.2 In general, after shipment, an order from Tchissola Wines takes the following time to be delivered:
a) Approximately 4 to 6 business days in mainland Portugal. Whenever there is a need to transfer stock to the shipping warehouse in order to complete the order, this period may exceed 6 business days;
b) Approximately 10 business days in the Madeira and Azores Islands;
c) Approximately 15 business days outside mainland Portugal.
5.3 After orders have been shipped, tracking information will be available in the account of the customer who placed the order, and a notification will also be sent by email with a link to track the shipment. If for any reason the customer does not receive the shipping confirmation, they should contact Tchissola Wines using the contact details mentioned above so that all available information about the shipment of the order can be sent again.
5.4 After the shipping notification, customers should track the status of the shipment via the link provided by Tchissola Wines. Tchissola Wines does not notify the customer of each change in the status of the shipment.
5.5 All products shipped by Tchissola Wines must be checked upon delivery. If the customer finds that the order is damaged, they must return it immediately to the transport company, duly justify the reason for the return on the carrier's delivery note, and immediately notify Tchissola Wines, if possible with photographic evidence, using the contact details mentioned above.
5.6 If, after delivery, the customer finds that any of the items are not in conformity, they are requested to contact Tchissola Wines immediately using the contact details mentioned above, indicating the order number or the number of the document that accompanied the order, attaching images of the packaging as received and of all items, so that an internal investigation can be opened and the situation can be resolved as quickly as possible.
5.7 Tchissola Wines has contracted specialised carriers for deliveries in Portugal and outside the national territory. Every effort is made to meet shipping and delivery deadlines, however, it should be noted that possible delays in deliveries may be beyond the control of Tchissola Wines.
5.8 Most deliveries are made during business hours on working days to the shipping address provided by the customer when placing the order. Tchissola Wines is not responsible for any delays in the delivery of the order.
5.9 In the event of an unsuccessful delivery attempt by the transport company due to absence, a delivery notice will always be left in the customer's mailbox with the carrier's instructions. Depending on the service and the carrier, orders must be collected at the location indicated by the carrier on the delivery notice, or the instructions requested on the same notice must be followed.
5.10 If for any reason the customer is unable to receive the order or collect it from the location indicated by the carrier, the customer is requested to contact Tchissola Wines so that together we can find the most appropriate solution.
6. Returns Policy
6.1 Tchissola Wines recognises the right of all its customers to terminate the contracts they enter into with it, allowing them to return, within 30 (thirty) days, the products purchased under the terms of Decree-Law No. 109-G/2021 and Decree-Law No. 84/2021, of December 10, 2021.
6.2 For exchanges or returns, customers are requested to contact Tchissola Wines using the contact details mentioned above, indicating the order number or the document that accompanied it, taking into account the conditions set out in the following paragraphs:
a) To return the order, the product must be in perfect condition and, where applicable, in its original packaging, with accessories or promotional offers included, and accompanied by proof of purchase or invoice.
b) Defective products and incorrect deliveries will be accepted for return, with Tchissola Wines being responsible for the shipping and collection costs whenever the customer reports this circumstance within 5 (five) business days from the day the recipient receives the product.
c) Once the goods have been received at our premises and their condition has been validated as compliant, a refund will be made in accordance with the payment method used by the customer, or another solution previously agreed with the customer.
6.3 Tchissola Wines assumes responsibility for defects in the origin or raw materials of the purchased product and, if this is confirmed by Tchissola Wines' specialised team, the product will be exchanged or returned at no cost to the customer.
6.4 Tchissola Wines will not accept the return of the product after it has been used, or if it has been altered or modified.
6.5 Tchissola Wines is not responsible for deficiencies resulting from misuse, negligence, poor storage conditions, or force.
7. Applicable Law
7.1 All purchases made on the Tchissola Wines website are subject to Portuguese law. Any conflict or divergence in the interpretation of the General Conditions of Online Sale will be submitted to the competent Portuguese court.
7.2 If the Customer is located outside mainland Portugal, Tchissola Wines hereby informs them that any legal proceedings must be brought exclusively before the Portuguese courts.
7.3 Under the terms and for the purposes of Article 18 of Law No. 144/2015 of September 8, we hereby inform you that the available ADR entity is the Lisbon Consumer Conflict Arbitration Center, with the following contact details:
